Dr. Elizabeth Bannerman is a registered psychologist who specializes in the area of rehabilitation psychology and behavioural medicine. She has been involved in various capacities in the rehabilitation of individuals with musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain conditions since 1993. This has included administration, staff training, assessment, and treatment, as well as surveying for The Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Dr. Bannerman utilizes predominantly a cognitive-behavioural approach, but also has EMDR training. Her focus is on helping individuals to re-attain a meaningful, enriching, and productive lifestyle, which include work, family and social activities, and exercise. She particularly enjoys treating individuals with depression, and chronic illness.
